EBook Hatch is a free eBook creator designed for classroom use. Your teacher will create student accounts and you can collaborate easily to create your eBooks.
Moglue is eBook creator you can use on an Apple iOS, PCs or Android devices. It is free to use and to download to your own device (but you would have to pay to publish on their site). If you have access to a Mac computer, iBooks Author is excellent. You can read the books you make on an iPad too. There is a simpler program for making a book directly on the iPad called Book Creator. E-book creators

Creative Commons Images
When you are blogging or reusing images for presentations, it is important to make sure you are allowed to use them - that they are considered "creative commons" images. See Photo Pin below or Richard Byrne's Advanced Google screencast on the right to see how to find images you are allowed to reuse.

Webspiration OnlineJust like the Inspiration software we have on the school computers, there is now an online beta version.
Use Webspiration to map out ideas, organize with outlines and collaborate online with teams or colleagues. This beta version is free, but you will need to sign up to use it. (There is a school/classroom version for which you can sign up for a 30 day free trial, but then you must purchase the service.) |
Wordle.net
Wordle is a tool for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes.
